Tampere reranked as Finland’s most popular city for studying

In a recent image survey conducted by Taloustutkimus, the higher education institutions in Tampere once again ranked high. The image survey looked into the appeal of the different study fields, the attraction of the study places and the factors affecting the images of the higher education institutions.

For all Tampere3 higher education institutions, the results in all categories were phenomenal and we enjoy a good reputation as a study place. Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Tampere University of Technology and the University of Tampere ranked in top six in comparisons made between all Finnish higher education institutions.

 

The city boosts the competitive edge of Tampere3

Tampere has established itself as a superior Finnish city for studying. In the assessments of the three higher education institutions, location was mentioned as one of the attractions: all three HEIs ranked in the top four.

In the assessments of the quality of teaching, all Tampere3 HEIs ranked among the eleven best. The highest ratings for high-quality teaching were received by TUT, ranking 4th.

Taloustutkimus conducts higher education image surveys on an annual basis. The survey was responded to by approx. 900 Finnish people under the age 30.
